THC-P, panoramica su questo nuovo super cannabinoide.

Cos'è il THCP

Il THCP è un nuovo cannabinoide scoperto per caso in Italia meno di 2 anni fa, dai primi studi effettuati sembra avere delle proprietà particolarmente interessanti in ambito medicinale e ricreativo.

È un fitocannabinoide strettamente imparentato con il THC, hanno una struttura molecolare piuttosto simile infatti si differenziano per il fatto che il THCP contiene 2 carboni in più nella coda.
Il cannabinoide è stato trovato per caso in alcuni semi di marijuana outdoor durante alcune ricerche per il progetto UniHemp, condotte da scienziati italiani mentre analizzavano un gene chiamato FM2.

Come viene prodotto il THCP?

il THCP è di origine naturale e può essere estratto direttamente dalla pianta, tuttavia finora è stato trovato solo in alcune varietà di Cannabis o semi di cannabis e in quantità molto piccole, pertanto a livello commerciale i produttori preferiscono sintetizzare il THCP dal THC e soprattutto dal CBD.

Effetti del THCP

Dai primi studi sembrerebbe che Il THCP abbia un'elevata affinità per i recettori CB1 e che quindi venga assorbito più facilmente rispetto al THC, questo significa che potenzialmente potrebbe avere effetti molto simili o addirittura più intensi. Quindi, quanto è potente il THCP? Questo è difficile da quantificare, perché la proporzione di THCP è molto bassa rispetto al resto dei cannabinoidi, ma si potrebbe dire che è allo stesso livello, o addirittura più forte, del THC e con effetto duraturo.
